Do you cage your cats or kittens? No. Our cats and kittens are raised underfoot as members of our family. All of our cats have full run of the house.

What does Pet Quality mean? Generally, a pet quality kitten is a kitten that exhibits traits that do not meet the breed standard for showing. However, there are times when a show quality kitten may be placed in a pet home. These kittens could be shown in premiership at a cat show . Pet kittens are spayed and neutered before leaving for their new homes.

What does Show Quality mean? A show quality kitten is one who best meets the Sphynx standard for overall breed type. Our show quality kittens are the best we have to offer. We can not guarantee show wins as there is much more to showing than looks.

What is included in the kitten cost? Our kitten price includes: a happy healthy kitten, spay/neuter surgery completed before leaving, a written health contract, recommended vaccinations & deworming, a health certificate from our Veternarian, CFA and TICA registration papers, a blanket and toy, written instructions on how to care for your new kitten, a kitten pack from Royal Canin, and lifelong advice and support.

How do I reserve a kitten? Once you have chosen your kitten, we require a non-refundable deposit of $450 to reserve the kitten. We accept paypal, personal checks, or money orders in US funds.

Do you require an adoption agreement? We do require everyone to sign an agreement when adopting a kitten from us. The agreement protects both us (the breeders) and you (the buyer), but more importantly it protects the kitten. We are more than happy to e-mail or mail our ageement to you, for your review.

Do you offer a health guarantee? Yes. Our cats are tested for FELV/FIV and we guarantee that your kitten arrives negative for these diseases. All of our cats receive annual examinations and vaccinations. All of our kittens receive a thorough examination from our veterinarian. We also offer a one year health guarantee for congenital defects. For more information on our health guarantee, please see our adoption agreement.

Are you willing to ship? Yes. Shipping is to be paid by the buyer and generally costs between $125 - $250, depending upon which airlines we must use. Shipping is weather permitting. We provide the carrier, bedding, veterinary examination and health certificate. Kittens are shipped bathed, nails trimmed, and ears cleaned.

Will my kitten be registered? Yes. Our kittens are registered with both CFA and TICA.

When can my new kitten come home? We allow our kittens to go to their new homes between 14 - 16 weeks of age. Generally, if being picked up the kitten may go to their new home at 14 weeks of age and if being shipped the kitten will be shipped at 16 weeks of age. It is important to note that these are our general guidelines, our decision on when to allow a kitten to go home depends on the kitten.

Do Sphynx require grooming? Yes. Many people believe that the Sphnyx is maintenance free because they have no fur, which is not true. A Sphynx requires bathing, nail trimming, nail cleaning and ear cleaning, generally on a weekly basis.

Can people with allergies live with a Sphynx? Sphynx are not hypoallergenic, however most individuals with allergies interact well with them. We recommend that if you have allergies that you spend sometime with a Sphynx before you adopt one.

Why do you out-cross sphynx? We believe that out-crossing is an essential part of breeding the sphynx. Out-crossing brings new bloodlines into the sphynx limited gene pool. Although out-crossing is expensive and time consuming, we are committed to furthering the breed.
